Total Grower Services encourages the use of compost in place of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilisers whereever feasible. Where possible we also utilise in ground composting of organic material using the Petrik soil treatment. The availability of fresh organic matter brings out the full benefits of the Petrik soil treatment.

Careful attention must be given to temperature, moisture, oxygen content and starter materials in order to produce quality compost. Petrik Compostar provides biology which direct the composting process to produce fulvic and humic acids and other desired compounds. Under the right conditions and in the presence of the correct soil biology these fulvic and humic acids then become stable humus in the soil.
