Storey is Australia's northernmost producer of Menindee seedless table grapes. In 2009 Mr Storey
began working with Total Grower Services and adopted the Petrik biological farming system.
The implemented system incorporates regular soil and tissue testing, irrigation monitoring and the application
of Petrik biological products. Since the adoption of our system Mr Storey has recorded his biggest ever yield
and is seeing improvements in plant health which have led to meeting the required Brix levels in a shorter period. This
means a faster turnaround time to market - a critical component for both the grower and consumer for a product like Menindee seedless grapes.
Balancing the soil chemistry has also resulted in improved disease resistance in the grapes. Despite a long,
consistent wet season Mr Storey recorded no incidence of downey mildew.

As a percentage of increase in yield, you could say 100%. These yields on a Menindee seedless in the tropics are unheard of. The one major
thing that has to be right is nutrition and I have no problems stating that nutrition via Petrik products and recommendations
has certainly contributed very significantly.
