Petrik Biology
Petrik have a unique soil biology understanding and production system. Petrik organic fertilisers, biological farming and other products are backed with the company's thorough understanding of the physical, chemical and biological interactions in the soil and plant. Petrik biology has been developed for over 60 years. Digestor, the premium humus creator, is field toughened for up to 17 months. Following selection of a desired range of biology the toughest microbes are selected using a survival of the fittest approach. The biology is subjected to extremes of temperature and pH, exposed to ultraviolet light, desiccated, waterlogged and deprived of oxygen etc.
At the end of each process the biology is bred from the microbes that remain, resulting in field-hardened biology, which can withstand the rigors of modern agriculture.
Compost teas and other microbe preparations that require careful brewing under controlled pH, temperature and oxygen levels have little chance of persisting once exposed to the variable field environment.
Petrik Digestor
Digestor is a biological product which promotes decomposition of organic resides in the soil, improving soil structure and production of stable humus. It can be used on all crop types. Digestor is to be used with the Petrik soil treatment program outlined below.

The Petrik Soil Treatment consists of Digestor or Evergreen, Green Manure, Impulse Cobalt, Impulse Molybdenum and Infiltrate.
Green Manure
Green Manure is added with either Digestor or Evergreen as part of the Petrik Soil Treatment. It provides support for the microbes, acts as an interim exchange capacity and supports the plants during digestion of organic matter.

Green Manure Plus
Green Manure Plus is a product combining Green Manure, Impulse Cobalt, Impulse Molybdenum and Infiltrate. It
provides support for the microbes, acts as an interim exchange capacity and supports the plants during digestion
of organic matter. Green Manure Plus has been developed by Petrik Pacific Distribution to meet the typical needs
of Australian farmers who would be using Green Manure.

Infiltrate
Infiltrate is a biological soil softener and aerator. It will help to eliminate water logging, increase nutrient exchange and improve nitrogen and oxygen permeability.

Impulse Boron
The Petrik Product Impulse 200 was specifically designed to organically enable complex boron to move
into plant tissue. Impulse 200 contains the same biological acids and alcohols that are naturally found
in plants and is used to translocate nutrients. This allows the complexes made by nutrients and Impulse
200 to be easily absorbed and translocated within the plants, depositing the
nutrient wherever the plant requires it. Leaf absorption is greatest when non-ionic molecules of low
molecular weight are present. Therefore, any molecule having a molecular weight of more than 1000
is very hard to absorb. Impulse 200 provides the needed low molecular weight, complexing, biological,
acids and alcohols, which contribute to the efficiency of the plant's natural capabilities.
The natural organic compounds in Impulse 200 not only help in the absorption and translocation
of nutrients, but also stimulate photosynthesis and additional nutrient uptake from the soil.
Boron, which does not complex the same as other nutrients, is easily complexed by Impulse 200.
Impulse boron has shown dramatic results such as a 39.9% increase in fruit count in Hawaiian Solo
papaya. This compound is also a vital part of the Petrik Winter Chill prevention treatment in banana.
In winter the tissue calcium levels generally drop. Boron is required by plants to control
their water intake.
